About

I’m Vadim. I love what I do.

I currently work at CustomUSB, which I helped get started back in 2003. In five years we grew from a 3 person office suite to an international leading manufacturer of customized memory products. We saw a need in the market, I built a website and we bought some Google ads. Two days later, I quit my collections job and found myself in front of a new Compaq, in a small office, reading sales books and working on a pricing structure. Today, I lead a team of talented salespeople, speak at conferences, and develop strategies that help integrate our products into various untapped markets.

In my spare time I am a freelance professional photographer. I currently shoot for LEUXO, a studio and photo album brand that I helped develop. We shoot luxury weddings, bar mitzvahs, children, food, and anything you can think of. For more on how I got into this go HERE.

Like most Russians in Chicago, I graduated from DePaul University with BS in Computer Networking. I don’t know much about networks (except where the USB port is located), but I do know a lot about marketing, psychology, and USB drives.  I also know graphic design, web design, handwriting analysis, operation of a CO2 laser engraver, and how to type fast on a BlackBerry. I know how things ought to be done and what to look for.
